The quickest way to change a watch isn't a new watch. It's the strap.
Where it began
Marlow Supply started the way most watch habits do: one watch, then another, then a drawer that slowly filled up. Somewhere along the way it became obvious that the strap does more to change how a watch looks and feels than almost anything else, and that it's the part most people never upgrade.
The trouble was finding good ones. Straps that looked great online turned up stiff, plasticky or the wrong shade. The decent ones cost nearly as much as the watch. There wasn't much in between.
Marlow exists to be that in-between: straps and accessories that feel like an upgrade, priced so you can own more than one.
One watch, many characters
The same watch can be three different watches. On waxed leather it's ready for the office or a dinner out. On FKM rubber it's ready for the weekend, the gym or the sea. Change the strap and you change the occasion, without buying another watch.
The Marlow standard
- Oil-wax leather, not coated leather. Our leather straps are top-grain cowhide finished with oil and wax. They start clean and slowly darken and soften with wear, so no two age the same way.
- FKM rubber, not silicone. Fluoroelastomer is the material serious dive straps use. It doesn't attract lint, doesn't go chalky in the sun and handles sweat, chlorine and salt water without complaint.
- Stainless steel hardware. Brushed and polished steel buckles that won't tarnish.
- Quick-release on everything. Every strap comes with quick-release spring bars fitted. Swap it in thirty seconds, no tools, no scratched lugs.
